Former Miss Fayetteville Guilty of Road Rage
Jenna Racine Walters, Miss Fayetteville 2006 and the winner of a Miss Congeniality award, pleaded guilty to an aggressive driving charge Thursday.
Posted — UpdatedWitnesses told Southern Pines police that Walters, 21, sped through traffic on U.S. Highway 15/501 on Nov. 9, weaving into oncoming traffic lanes in an attempt to catch up to another young woman with whom she had a confrontation.
Thomas, 22, of West End, called Walters a good person and denied that Walters ever hit or intimidated her.
Police reports say Walters’ vehicle bumped into Thomas’ car, causing $400 in damage.
Walters declined comment during her appearance in Moore County District Court.
