Site SearchRaleigh, N.C. — Two people are dead after a Tuesday night accident on Buffaloe Road at Westminster Drive in Raleigh.
Ruben Dario Medina, 34, and 10-year-old Jefferson Medina were killed after a sports utility vehicle crossed the center line and struck a Honda Accord head-on, state troopers said.
It happened at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Ruben Medina was driving the Honda. Jefferson Medina and two other people, including another child, were riding in the vehicle. The other passengers were taken to WakeMed with serious injuries.
The driver of the SUV was also hospitalized.
Troopers withheld the names and conditions of the other victims, including the driver who crossed the line.
