Chapel Hill, N.C. — Police asked the public's help Tuesday in finding a 49-year-old woman missing from her home.
A neighbor who saw Irene Mafe at her home on Saturday was the last person reported to have seen her, police said. Her family told police she did not usually leave her home except to go to work or a grocery store.
Mafe "has recently been suffering from anxiety and a sleep disorder. She has been having difficulty with her medications over the past few weeks," police said in a statement.
She drives a red Kia Sportage with North Carolina registration RTV-2905.
Police asked that anyone who has information about Mafe call them at 919-968-2760.
