Durham, N.C. — Riverside High reports that senior Sarah Brown has been appointed to the United States Naval Academy class of 2012. Her appointment includes full tuition and expenses valued at $400,000.
“Going to the Naval Academy is like a dream come true for me,” Brown said.
She was recommended to the Academy by Congressional nomination letters from Sen. Elizabeth Dole and Congressman David Price.
