Clinton police have located the vehicle they suspect was used in Saturday's drive-by shooting at the More Cut Barbershop.

They found the white Kia on Sunday afternoon on Hurricane Lane off Hwy 701 in Sampson County. After obtaining a search warrant for the car, police planned to examine it Monday for weapons or evidence related to the crime.

The car was a rental, police said, but they would not where or when it was rented.

According to police, a white, four-door Kia vehicle pulled up to the More Cut Barbershop at Still and Lisbon streets at about 4 p.m. Saturday. Four people inside the vehicle started firing guns, police said.

A bullet struck Marcus London in the head, officers said. London, 23, was transported to UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, where police said he was listed in critical condition Sunday night.

Police want to question four people: Terry Oates, 22; Deangelo Jacobs, 18; Donte Singleton, 18; and Michael Wright, 20. Officers said they are not considered suspects.

Police asked anyone who knows the whereabouts of those four people to call Clinton police at 910-592-1961.
