Man Injured in Drive-by Shooting in Clinton

A man was injured during a drive-by shooting in Clinton. It happened at about 4 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Still and Lisbon streets.

CLINTON, N.C. —  A man was injured during a drive-by shooting in Clinton.

It happened at about 4 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Still and Lisbon streets.

Four people in a white Kia vehicle pulled up in front of the Moore Cut Barbershop and starting firing, police said.

A 27-year-old barber was struck in the head by a bullet. He was transported to the UNC Hospitals, where he was listed in critical condition.

Multiple shots were fired into the barbershop, but no one else was injured, police said.

Police said the following four people were wanted for questioning: Terry Oates, 22; Deangelo Jacobs, 18; Donte Singleton, 18; and Michael Wright, 20.
