Durham, N.C. — Durham police found a 1-year-old girl unharmed Wednesday after a search.
Zamiyah Clemons was taken from her home on Dupree Street Tuesday night by her mother, April Clemons, who does not have custody, police said.
Officials said they feared Zamiyah might have been in danger, but they found her safe several hours later.
Authorities were questioning April Clemons Wednesday afternoon. No other information was released.
