Sanford police arrested a man in connection with a fatal shooting Saturday.

<b>SANFORD, N.C.</b> — Sanford police arrested a man in connection with a fatal shooting Saturday.

Police responded to calls about a shooting at 611 Hughes St. shortly after 6:15 a.m. Officers found Andrew Lee Tillman, 31, lying on his living room floor, bleeding from a gunshot wound.

Paramedics transported Tillman to Central Carolina Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police arrested Harry James O'Connor, 33, of 1917 Lee Ave., and charged him with murder.

He was being held without bond Saturday afternoon.
