— A local man was arrested Tuesday morning in connection with a September case where a body was found inside a burning house, authorities said.

Omuri Terrence Williams, 20, of 1117 Oakstone Drive, was arrested by U.S. marshals at his house without incident.

Firefighters putting out a house fire at 404 Durant Drive on Sept. 27 found the body of Charles Edward Townsend Jr., 23, inside the home. Authorities determined that the fire had been set and ruled Townsend's death a homicide.

Townsend was robbed before he was killed, authorities said.

Fayetteville police said in October that they were searching for two men in the case. There was no word Tuesday on whether a second suspect was still being sought.

I get tired of hearing an adult's actions blamed on how he was raised. There comes a time in a person's life where they MUST take responsibility for their actions. I'm sorry that people have horrible childhood's. Mine wasn't the best in the world. But you decide how you want to live your life as an adult and YOU are responsible for YOUR actions. Let's hold people accountable instead of feeling sorry for them, start handing out swift and severe justice. We'll see a decline in crime.

This man might be a model citizen that has been wrongly convicted. Stop judging people so quickly. He does not look like a killer. Just remember he is still a child of God.

Looks like another case of "Thugz Gone Wild". We seem to have this problem happening every other day now. Once again pack a gun, dont talk to strangers. Never leave your doors unlocked; even when driving. Live.

These situations continues because they are not given enough time in prison 25-30 years. When they get out of prison, they become repeaters. Then again its how the child was raised in the first place. This goes back to the parents. Well, everybody is not a parent, so that may be the problem when it comes to raisiing children.
