— Raleigh police located a woman who disappeared with her nearly 5-month-old son, but an Tarboro mother of four remained missing Saturday.

The baby, Peyton Joseph Seldomridge, was unharmed, officials said. He and his mother, Destonie Dale Peitz, 24, were found on Saturday morning.

Police never called the disappearance an abduction, but said they were concerned about the well-being of the baby.

Meanwhile, officials with the Edgecombe County Sheriff's Office said they had few leads in the case of Francisco Morales Jaimes, 45, of 3377 Chinquapin Road.

Jaimes was last seen on Nov. 1. She has four children and family in the Sanford area, authorities said.

Authorities described Jaimes as Caucasian, 5 feet 9 inches tall and approximately 160 pounds. She has brown hair and green eyes.

Anyone with any information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Edgecombe County Sheriff’s Office at 252-641-7911.

Are any of these people actually missing or are some nosey people just minding someone else's business?

What minimizes the still lost woman is showcasing the picture of the formerly lost but now found safe baby.

I don't understand what happend with the first one. Where was she found? Why did she disappear?

You know what? Why all the excitement over missing women? There's plenty more all over the place.

i'm glad they found these two safe. i also don't see why they put these two situations together. it kinda minimizes the lost woman. i pray they find her soon also.
