Missing Craven County Boy Found in Charlotte

Kaleb Jordan Hardin

A statewide Amber Alert was canceled Sunday for a missing Craven County boy.

Kaleb Jordan Hardin, 7, and his mother were safely located around 8 p.m. at the Sycamore Green Apartments in downtown Charlotte.

Authorities said they had reason to believe the child was in danger when the Amber Alert was issued Saturday.

The pair had been missing since Oct. 7.

Kaleb and his mother, Susan Janine Hardin, were in police custody Sunday night.

Family members are scheduled to pick them up from the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department.
