SELMA — The lights may be off for good for a blue light bandit who has made his way around the Triangle.

Raleigh police arrested Wayne Lewis, of Selma, after he tried to buy flashing blue lights at a supply store. Over the past two years, dozens of women from Durham to Johnston County say a man posing as a cop tried to pull them over.

Investigators from several departments are looking into the possibility that Lewis could be the blue light bandit.
