FORT BRAGG — When you're not at home, packages are sometimes left on your door step.. and that can be an invitation for thieves.
Case in point, a Fort Bragg private and his wife are charged with stealing $5,000 worth of Christmas gifts. The gifts were left at doorsteps by delivery trucks.
Investigators believe John and Michelle Issa exchanged some gifts for cash to finance a trip to Ohio to visit relatives.
