RALEIGH — A chartered bus tour took anunscheduled break on Interstate-40 in the Triangle Sunday when the buscaught fire..
The El Expreso tour bus caught fire on I-40 around noon, backing uptraffic along the Interstate near the Wade Avenue exit for nearly an hour.
The bus was headed to Atlanta when the fire broke out in the enginecompartment. Another bus picked up the stranded passengers a short timelater.
