RALEIGH — Noise may be a problem for you today if youlive in Chatham, Harnett, Leeor Wake counties.
The Sharon Harris nuclear power plant says it will test its 81 alertnotification sirens at full volume today. The tests sirens should be heardby residents within a 10-mile radius of the plant.
The sirens will sound twice for three minutes, starting at 2:30 p.m..Local radio and TV stations will not interrupt programming to broadcastthe emergency alert system.
