RALEIGH — The North Carolina State Fair has a newpermanent manager. Wesley Wyatt, who was acting manager during this year'sfair, was officially appointed to the position Monday.
Wyatt first joined the fair staff in 1973. He worked his way up toassistant manager by 1992.
This past October, Wyatt took over the reins just two weeks prior tothe fair when long-time manager Sam Rand passed away.
