RAEFORD — New details have surfaced in the Hoke CountySheriff's Department investigation of a shooting that left one man dead. An autopsy report says that David Sivak was hit by four bullets and hadcocaine in his system when he died.
Deputy Frank Hicks shot Sivak over Labor Day weekend. He says he shotwhen Sivak tried to run over him with a van.Hicks is on administrativeleave while the Attorney General's office decides whether he should standtrial for the shooting.
