APEX, N.C. — The president of a company that handles pallets for industry died Thursday when a forklift struck him while it was being unloaded from a truck, Apex police said.

Seth Marshburn, 29, of Holly Springs, was killed when the forklift overturned while coming off the truck at a building at 810 Lufkin Road. A spokesman for Henry Wurst Inc., a printing company that owns the property, said Apex Pallett rented the property there.

Marshburn was president of Apex Pallet Co., which buys and sells the platforms on which goods are stacked for shipping and removing them as a service for other businesses.
