Harnett Pet Store Partner Dodges Citations

FAYETTEVILLE — A former partner in a Harnett County pet store has dodged animal controlcitations in Fayetteville.

After receiving a warning, Kevin Giles bought licenses for 16-dogs andshowed proof they've been vaccinated for rabies. Giles picked up the dogsfrom an animal shelter last week. They had been staying there while heand the pet shop's owner closed out the business.

Owner Audrey Collins was in court this morning to face animal cruelty charges,but the case was continued.
