MONCURE — There's still no word on what caused anovernight fire inside a Weyerhaeuser plant in Chatham County.
The site in Moncure has two plants, both of which manufacture woodproducts. One of those facilities broke out in flame.
The fire was contained and extinguished by employees, prior to thearrival of fire and rescue crews.
The plant is on Corinth Road, just off old US-1.
No one was reported hurt.
