FAYETTEVILLE — The weekend heat didn't keep Fayetteville State students from standing in line to buy books. FSU students checked their schedules and started loading up.
Book store workers say the weekend before classes begin is, by far, the busiest time of the year. It's just part of getting ready for another school year. Despite the wait for books, students told WRAL they are anxious to get back to class.
Many people were worried that the UPS strike would keep them from getting their books in time for the first day of classes this Wednesday. But right now the shelves are pretty well stocked.
