KANNAPOLIS — Workers from six Fieldcrest Cannonplants in Kannapolis are celebrating victory. Wednesday, they voted to defeat a fourth attempt by the textile workers' union to unionize them.
The workers won by a huge margin of 369 votes. The last vote to unionize was taken six years ago.
Union officials say they won't stop in their fight to organize theworkers in both Rowan and Cabarrus counties.
