Michael Trott faces new charges in Durham
DURHAM — A man police say preyed on several children in the Triangle faces new charges Monday night in Durham.

Hours after his first court appearance Monday for seven counts of takingindecent liberties with a minor in Wake County, Durham police charged22-year-old Michael Trott with two more attacks, as well as exposinghimself to a minor.

Durham's University Drive is a busy area, filled with a variety of shopping centers and customers. It is also a place where police say Trottis accused of taking indecent liberties with a minor. Parents who oftencome to University Drive said they hope police have the right man, and ifhe's guilty they're glad he's apprehended.

Trott is in Wake County with a $700,000 bond. He also has a separate bondof $75,000 in Durham. Raleigh police said they wouldn't be surprised ifmore people started to come forward in the situation.
