Eggleston Memorial Replaced

FAYETTEVILLE — A memorial for a Fayetteville teen is back where it belongs. Today family and friends of 16-year-old Chris Eggleston replaced the cross and flowers along the road near where he was killed.
Several weeks ago someone stole the cross from the memorial site. Eggleston disappeared after taking a final exam last month. Searchers found his body in a wooded area. He had been tied up and strangled. Police charged fellow student Matthew Myers with his murder.
