RALEIGH — Raleigh police are searching for a man they say sexually assaulted a younggirl early Saturday morning. In the Greystone community where crimes likeSaturday's don't usually happen, investigators say a man took indecentliberties with a 7-year-old girl.

Sergeant Bryant of the Raleigh Police Department say the girl was waitingby the neighborhood pool when a man pulled up in a vehicle and asked herif she wanted some candy. When the little girl said no, the suspect gotout of his car and led the victim to a nearby gazebo. That's where thealleged crime took place.

To look around the pool, it doesn't appear anything happened. Kids arestill splashing around in the water. But parents like Annette Capaci areholding onto their children a little tighter. Capaci says having twoyoung daughters, she tries to protect her kids from harm.

Pool manager Elizabeth Yates recalls that before the assault happened, noone was afraid to leave their kids alone at the pool. Now, that has allchanged.

Police are putting up flyers warning residents about the attack. They are also classifying the suspect as a pedaphile. People of theGreystone community share a common goal with investigators-- getting theman off the streets before he can get to another child.
