RALEIGH — Opening statements began Monday morning in amurder trial for a crime that occurred 18 months ago.
Leroy and Cindy Mann are accused of robbing Janet Noble Houser, thenthrowing her off the Falls Lake Bridge in northern Wake County.
Convictions could mean the death penalty.
