Rapper Sentenced for Spitting Incident

RALEIGH — Baseball player Roberto Alomar was not severely punished for spitting on an umpire, but if you spit in someone's face in North Carolina, you'll pay a stiffer price -- no matter how famous you are.
Rap star Foxy Brown learned that lesson Monday in a Raleigh courtroom. A judge found the 17-year-old guilty of two minor assault charges stemming from a spitting incident at a Raleigh Holiday Inn earlier this year.
As part of her sentence, Brown must complete 80 hours of community service, pay a $500 fine, and publically appologize to the hotel clerk in question.
