Wade Avenue Ramp to Close for Resurfacing

RALEIGH — Due to inclement weather, the North CarolinaDepartment of Transportation's (NCDOT) resurfacing work on Wade Avenuehighway ramps originally scheduled for Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8was postponed to this upcoming weekend.

The NCDOT will intermittently close highway ramps on Wade Avenue at theRaleigh Beltline and Blue Ridge Road from Saturday, June 14 to Sunday,June 15, weather permitting.

All access ramps at the Raleigh Beltline and Wade Avenue interchange willbe closed except for the ramp accessing Wade Avenue east from the InnerBeltline. Access ramps at the Blue Ridge Road and Wade Avenue interchangealso will be closed for resurfacing.

To help minimize the impact on motorists, the NCDOT will not close morethan one ramp at the same time.

The NCDOT urges motorists to find an alternate route when possible, stayalert in the work zone and watch for signs with current constructioninformation.
