FAISON — WRAL first reported on him this past March. Now, his stunning story is the subject of a CBS television '48 Hours' report.
The theme of the broadcast is liars and Curtis Jackson, who lived for 10 years as a preacher and pillar of his community in Faison, is one of those featured.
Jackson's friends and neighbors in Faison didn't know he was wanted for a Florida murder, for which he has since been convicted.
The May 29 program follows Jackson's trial and tries to determine if the real Curtis Jackson is a gentle preacher or a murderer.
The program airs at 10 p.m on WRAL-TV5..
