Emergency Dispatcher Charged with Drug Dealing

DURHAM — An emergency dispatcher in Durham has foundhimself in a bit of a crisis. Police arrested Antonio Autry Tuesday and charged him with dealing cocaine.

In some cases police say he carried the drugs in from other states.Autry is being held without bond in Greensboro. His first court appearanceis Thursday.

Autry has been a 9-1-1 dispatcher for 11 years. If convicted, he couldspend life in prison.
