Click It or Ticket ... Again

RALEIGH — If you've gotten out of the habit of bucklingup, or you never got into it, state authorities will again be looking for you.

Tuesday, a team from Governor Jim Hunt's office are launching a new "Click it or Ticket" initiative ... 1997-style.

Seat belt checkpoints and child safety seat checkup stations will beset up in each of North Carolina's 100 counties and will remain throughJune 8.

State officials want to encourage people to use their seat beltsbefore the busy summer travel season starts up.
