    lynnway12345- ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nothing else to be said, you very well said it!!

OK...now I'm really upset. They changed the title to include Reuben Studdard because somone cried "racist". (I'm black myself)...WHY didn't they include Paula Deen in the title too? Do they have something against Food Network stars?

Honestly, I can't believe that WRAL got that rattled over those comments. Reuben is not from here (Alabama) and won Idol YEARS AGO. (his gospel albums are great but he's not as mainstream as he was when he won.

Paula Deen is constantly on t.v. lately. (kidding)

Honestly though, if I ever was that seriously offended with WRAL's conduct I'd just stop reading them and it would certainly be something more serious then this. Don't get me wrong, I'll be the first to stand up if something is seriously wrong racially, but this doesn't EVEN qualify! WRAL, if you buckle this quickly over a fluff piece like this I hate to see how many changes you'll make if something really important comes along.

only 5 bucks to see Kellie? and 20 to see Chris? that is retarded...

  • Houdini Jul 25, 2007

who cares about anyone's race when there are LIBERALS among us!!!

  • linnway Jul 25, 2007

The reason the race card is trumphed so often is because society keeps catering to it.

  • Houdini Jul 25, 2007

someone told me Ruben Studdard was a LIB/DEM! I can't believe it though, he seems so nice and normal......

glad they included him, but it is a shame that someone screams "race" each time they don't like how something is done.

it shouldn't have mattered in this case. the point was that the names originally listed were from NC.

well, enough finally complained, so WRAL, I see, has re-posted the headlines to NOT ONLY include ruben studdard, but has listed him FIRST in the names.

we shouldn't have to feel like we are obligated to changed something EVERYTIME someONE complains!!!!!!
