RALEIGH — An afternoon bike ride turned deadlyTuesday for a bicyclist in southernWake County. The unidentified victim was traveling east on Piney GroveWilburn Road when he pulled into the path of an extra wide tractortrailer.
The truck driver says he tried to stop in time, but couldn't.Both the victim and the truck wound up in a nearby field. No charges areexpected in this case.
