Centennial Authority Selects Builder for New Arena

RALEIGH — The Centennial Authority has chosen Hensel Phelps Construction to oversee the construction of Raleigh's new sports and entertainment arena. The facility will be home to the brand new Carolina Hurricanes hockey team and North Carolina State University basketball.
The Colorado-based construction company promises to have the $120 million arena ready for the 1999 opening deadline.
