ZEBULON — A Zebulon police sergeant resigned Tuesday andwas subsequently charged with credit card fraud.
Sgt. Stuart Ellington allegedly stole a credit card during a routineDWI stop and later used the card to call adult telephone services.
Ellington had been with the police department for seven years and wasnamed Officer of the Year in 1993.
