DURHAM — Durham police struggled with a suspectedburglar Sunday night. They say a man was trying to get away in a car fullof stolen goods when police accosted him.
The suspect allegedly grabbed an officer's gun and threatened to killthe officer, then ran off into a wooded area.
Police followed and were successful in capturing the man. The suspectis being held on $3,000 bond. His name has not been released.
