HILLSBOROUGH — An explosion and fire tore through a mobile home in Orange County Wednesday night, leaving behind nothing but destruction. It happened at Orange Mobile Home Estates off Old Highway 10.
Fire investigators say they do not believe the fire was accidental. Neighbors say they saw someone speed away in a car right after the explosion.
No one was living in the trailer and no one was injured. The last tenant was recently evicted.
Investigators were still looking for clues to the cause of the blaze at noon Thursday.
