RALEIGH — The results of a school bus safety ride-alongare out, and it looks like many drivers are not obeying the rules of theroad. But drivers say other cars on the road are ignoring school buswarning lights and stop arms.
Transportation directors who rode buses Tuesday counted nearly 500 carsviolating the law.
That, they say, puts thousands of North Carolina children at risk forinjury or death.
