RALEIGH — The results of a school bus safety ride-along are out, and it looks like many drivers are not obeying the rules of the road. But drivers say other cars on the road are ignoring school bus warning lights and stop arms.
Transportation directors who rode buses Tuesday counted nearly 500 cars violating the law.
That, they say, puts thousands of North Carolina children at risk for injury or death.
