Rabies Clinics Offered in Wake County

— Since 1994, there have been 80 confirmed cases of rabies in Wake County, and the number of cases reported in surrounding areas continues to climb. To help combat the trend, Wake County is offering a series of rabies clinics so that animal lovers can have their pets immunized.

There will be one at Davis Drive Elementary School in Apex Tuesday through 8 p.m. Tuesday. The vaccinations cost only $4. For more information, you can call (919) 250-1478.
