NASHVILLE — There's promising news about the conditionof a Nash County infant who suffers from a rare heart disorder.
Doctors say 3-month-old Bradley Worrell underwent open-heart surgeryMonday night and is now doing very well. The child was born with severalheart defects.
The family traveled to San Francisco last week to prepare for thesurgery. Friends of the family raised about $4,000 to help pay for thetrip.
