<b>FAYETTEVILLE</b> — The fatal shooting of a marine has drawnthe attention of the Criminal Investigation Division of the Army.

The shooting occurred around 8:30 Saturday night, not far from FortBragg.

Emergency crews were called to a wooded area near Mott Lake, which isclose to the Hoke and Cumberland County lines.

There's no word yet on how the shooting occurred, nor has the victim'sidentity been released.
