FAYETTEVILLE — Firefighters in Cumberland County believethey have contained a wildfire just southeast of Fayetteville.
The fire is being called highly suspicious and investigators aresearching for clues that might lead them to an arsonist.
There are 20 firefighters on the ground with four tractors battling theflames, a forestry scout plan watching for indications the fire might bespreading, and a forestry helicopter dumping water on the blaze.
