7 Injured in Fayetteville Crash

FAYETTTEVILLE — Emergency medical crews raced to Reilly Road in Fayetteville Friday night after a two-car collision that injured seven.

Officers say a white Ford Probe ran into a Hyundai. The cars were traveling in opposite directions, according to investigators, when the Ford crossed the center line and struck they Hyundai almost head on.

Among those injured was a one-year-old child, and a passenger who was pregnant lost the baby.

Alterric Hayes, 18, of Aulander has been charged with driving left of center.
