Jurors Still Debating Boggess' Fate

e-mail print friendly

There has been no word from Durham jurors who are deliberating the sentence for convicted killer Todd Boggess. He was convicted of killing a Wilmington teen for his car.

Daniel Pence was killed in Durham in 1995.

The jury is now trying to decide if Boggess will get the death penalty or a life sentence. Defense attorneys say Boggess should be spared because of his abusive childhood. Boggess' father testified he had sexually abused his son for several years.
