RTP — Employees at a Research Triangle Park plant are back at work after a hazardous materials spill Friday morning. A chemical called ethylene oxide spilled at the Surgicot company.
That chemical can pose a danger in large amounts. Firefighters evacuated the building, but such a small amount had spilled, they determined there was no danger to workers.
