GODWIN — Cumberland County authorities say a body they found was that of a Delaware homicide victim.
Deputies found the body of 56-year-old Dennis Ray near Godwin Wednesday night. They believe he was killed in Delaware on or near February 11. Chief of Cuyler Windham of the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office says they believe the body was transported here two or three weeks ago and buried in a shallow grave.
Police have made two arrests, one in Thomasville. Delaware authorities plan to charge both with murder.
