HENDERSON — A woman was killed and two other people were injured in an accident on Interstate 85 near Henderson Monday night.
Investigators say a tractor-trailer truck and a van collided in the northbound lanes just north of the Dabney Drive exit. Killed was Cheryle Floyd Bullock, 42. She was riding in the van with her daughter, who was injured along with the truck driver.
Traffic on northbound I-85 had to be rerouted following the collision. Initial reports say three miles of the interstate in Vance County had to be shut down.
