CARY — The pastor of White Plains United Methodist Church has been found liable for civil assault and battery against two former church workers. The jury now must consider punitive and compensatory damages against Reverend Ed Privette.
Three women had charged that the minister massaged, hugged and kissed them inappropriately on several occasions.
Privette took the stand in his own defense
There is no limit set on monetary damages that could be assessed against Privette. He is still the senior minister at the Cary church.
