DURHAM — The state is investigating Durham's AlcoholBeverage Control due to concerns that liquor distributors may have tradedsports tickets, free meals and clothing for special favors.
ALE is the second agency to look into Durham's system. The Durham CountySheriff's department is trying to find out who made $1,500 worth oftelephone sex calls from the organization's headquarters.
